| Committees are the implementation agents of the Board of Directors. They take on some of the day to day responsibilities - as a service to our community and the Board. Currently there are five standing committees in Riverwalk. Take a look at the individual committee pages by selecting the appropriate button(s) on the left, and please consider becoming a more active participant in our community - Committees are fun, don't take much of your valuable time, and make the community a better place to live. Committee Chairs and Board Member can request a notice on the community bulletin board (located at entrance) by CLICKING HERE. Anyone else wishing to display a notice, must obtain the authorization of the Board. |
Beautification Committee
The Beautification Committee was formed in 2007 to ensure appropriate focus on the upkeep and lasting beauty of our community. The group works with Metro Parks, interested homeowners, and contracted landscaping services. |
Communications Committee
The Communication Committee keeps the community informed of current and future events by: publishing the quarterly newsletter; ensuring the Community is aware of issues and events; maintaining the community web site; and, communicating Neighborhood Watch alerts. |
Pool Committee
The Riverwalk Pool Committee was formed in 2005 with the primary mission of providing oversight of the aquatic center to ensure safety and security for all the residents and their guests. |
Social Committee
The Social Committee has the responsibility of creating "social experiences" throughout the year. Our events are not only for the residents' enjoyment, but also to encourage neighbor-to-neighbor interaction within the community. We believe that strong community friendships build a stronger community. |
Welcome Committee
The Welcome Committee was formed in 2007 by an energetic group of caring neighbors that all shared one thing - a desire to help ease our newest neighbors' transitions into the community. |
